Get your motor Running

So after having my car broken into 2 times this summer I've decided that its time to get myself a scooter. Why get a scooter? Man you ask a lot of questions viewer. Well it boils down to 3 main points..


1. There's no stereo to be stolen so no break-ins.
2. There's no parking for cars at school, but plenty of scooter parking
3. SAVE MONEY ON GAS!!!

So I bought a scooter. It's a 2002 Yamaha Vino(to see it better click on the picture). Its 49cc, but man does it have pep!

Oh and by the way, the Eagles Kicked Major A$$ today!!!

Tabula Rasa?

Most people don't know what Tabula Rasa is, and somewhat rightfully so. But a guy by the name of John Locke first used this term to refer to the human mind at birth. How so? Well I'll tell you, quite being so impatient...The direct translation of Tabula Rasa(Latin) is "Clean Slate". This applies to the human as having no prior knowledge or beliefs at birth. Today I refer to Tabula Rasa as work. Work? You ask, well yeah...Because the name of the cafe I work in is Tabula Rasa. Amazing Dan, so why do we care? Well sorry if I wanted to let you have a little insight to my life, and let you know about a nice place to get some coffee or a nice fresh made meal. So stop on in if you're in the neighborhood, we're located on 2nd street between Girard and Poplar, right in Northern Liberties.

Are you ready for some FOOTBALL???

There he is, Mr. Syracuse himself Donny "Mr. Fantastic" McNabb. As much as I'd like to see the eagles returning to the superbowl, I think their chances are far better of them making to the superbuffet. After watching football all day on sunday I am pumped up for this season. One of my favorite players Drew Bledsoe has found a home in Cowboyville, and seems to be off to a great start. But alas tonight the Eagles play their only competative game they'll have for the 1st half of the season. That team of course is the Atlanta Falcons starring Michael Vick. So tonight everyone break out their green underwear and start cheering for the home team.......and please no E-A-G-L-E-S chants, we're better than that aren't we?

Today was a Green Day!

So on Wednesday I took a little trip to the Wachovia center to see one of my favorite bands of all time. You may have heard of them, their name is Green Day. It was an awesome show, but I do have to say they rocked it alot more last October when they came to the Liacourus Center at Temple University. The opening band was also a band I've rocked out to for years, they call themselves Jimmy Eat World.

Today I added my first image to the most amazing blog since sliced blog bread. This here is my buddy MJ. What you know MJ well thats kinda weird...you've seen him on the TV?!?!? thats shocking he never told me about that! More fun times to come but for now enjoy!
